Health Connector 2026 Open Enrollment Social Media Toolkit
November 2025
Purpose
Open Enrollment for plan year 2026 is here! This is the time for residents across the Commonwealth to shop and apply, change plans, or renew their health coverage. The Massachusetts Health Connector is prepared to support members affected by a changing policy environment that will impact their health coverage and costs next year.
For many, there could be confusion, loss of coverage, or increased financial strain–especially in communities that already face systemic barriers to coverage and care. The Health Connector is committed to helping members and applicants, explaining how these federal changes might impact them, and guiding them toward the best coverage choices for them and their families
This toolkit is designed to help:
- Promote Open Enrollment.
- Maintain trust with members and applicants, and help prepare them for upcoming changes.
- Help members maintain coverage and access care by driving them to take action and enroll.
Federal Changes
Recent federal policy changes affecting the Massachusetts Health Connector and other state Marketplaces may result in many people losing their coverage and becoming uninsured if they’re uninformed and do not take timely action. These policy changes could make it more challenging for individuals and families to enroll and could result in higher premiums by reducing the amount of available tax credits.
