Purpose

This toolkit will help get the word out about the state’s Simple Sign-up program through social media to promote the continued effort to get more Massachusetts residents covered. Simple Sign-up is a fill-in option on the Massachusetts state tax return to opt-in to get information about health insurance options through the Health Connector. This information includes plans available to the taxpayers who check the box and whether or not they may be eligible for financial help to lower how much they’d pay for monthly health insurance premiums.

How to Use this Guide

Step 1: Copy and paste the content for the post you’d like to share. Feel free to update the text and/or use a different photo to personalize the content for your audience. All sample post content can be used on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn.

Step 2: Be sure to tag the Health Connector so we can help amplify your content, and people can click to learn more.

• For Instagram or Threads: Type “@healthconnector” to tag the page.
• For Facebook: Type “@Health Connector” or “@HealthConnector” and select the page from the drop-down when it appears.
