The Health Connector seeks an Associate Director of External Affairs to support the agency’s Deputy Chief of External Affairs in bolstering the Health Connector’s external engagement. The Associate Director will support the External Affairs team in developing and executing a holistic strategic vision for the Health Connector’s external affairs functions and relationships, building and maintaining trusted relationships with government officials and other stakeholders, serving as lead staff supporting Board of Directors engagement (including preparing for Board of Director meetings and developing meeting materials), evaluating state and federal political landscape to inform external affairs strategy and serving as a liaison for local, state and federal officials.

This individual will provide vital administrative support to leaders and staff, and enable the high-performance of our workplace and organization.

The Health Connector’s Policy Department is seeking a physician or other professional with a medical, clinical, or pharmaceutical background to provide ongoing clinical and medical input and recommendations to inform the Health Connector’s health coverage programs and policy development. This individual will provide clinical input to the Policy and Plan Management teams, with particular focus on helping design clinically sound and innovative approaches to health coverage that prioritize population health and health equity.
