On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, the Massachusetts Health Connector holds its “Day of Coverage” featuring activities across the Commonwealth designed to help people #GetCovered with health insurance for the new year.“Day of Coverage” activities will be held in Boston, Hyannis, Lawrence, New Bedford, and Lowell.
Open Enrollment is happening now and runs through January 23, 2020. Massachusetts residents who want to enroll in coverage or switch plans to start February 1, must sign up through the Health Connector by January 23rd.
Residents can sign up for coverage at www.MAhealthconnector.org, over the phone at 1-877-MA-ENROLL (1-877-623-6765), or in person through a local navigator organization.

HyannisThe Mayflower Bakery & Café TIME: 10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Join us for a Coffee and Pastries Happy Hour! Enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate with fellow residents and health insurance Navigators from the Community Action Committee of Cape Cod and Islands (CACCI) to provide information about your coverage options. |
LawrenceAmerica’s Food Basket TIME: 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. It’s time for another Healthy Shopping Spree @ America’s Food Basket! Residents of Lawrence who registered will be invited to participate on a Healthy Shopping Spree at America’s Food Basket where they will be able to compete for a gift card and discounts to buy healthy food. (Registration is now closed to new entrants.) |
New BedfordHelpline with Full Power Radio 100.3 FM & PACE Navigators TIME: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Live mobile radio studio truck! – From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., listeners of Full Power Radio 100.3 FM will have the opportunity to call and ask their local Navigators any questions about Open Enrollment. |
HyannisMain Street Businesses TIME: 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. The Coverage Crew will be making a tour of Main Street small businesses pacing window signs to remind residents to sign up for health insurance during Open Enrollment. |
