Do I need a Social Security number (SSN) to apply?

People who are applying for health coverage can fill out an application even if they do not have a Social Security Number (SSN). 

Please note that if you have household members included on your application, but do not need insurance, you will still be asked to enter their SSN, if they have one, or you will need to choose a reason why they do not have one from the choices in the application.
