I’m not able to afford to pay my monthly health or dental premium in full each month. Does the Health Connector offer a payment plan or other help?

The Health Connector does not offer payment plans. If you can no longer afford your monthly premium because your income has changed, make sure to report the change in income. Your coverage end date and renewing your coverage

When you buy health and dental insurance through the Health Connector, your coverage period ends on December 31 regardless of your coverage start date. But, don’t worry. You have the opportunity to review coverage each year during the Open Enrollment period. Before your coverage end date for the year, you will get letters in the mail that will let you know about your coverage options for the next year. Your plan renewal information will tell you if your plan will be available for the next year, or, if it is not, will give your information about the new plan you are matched to. During open enrollment you can shop for a different plan, even if the plan you have is available. By shopping during open enrollment, you may be able to find plans with lower costs. If your plan is available for the next year and you do not want to change it, then all you have to do is continue to pay your monthly premium. Set up an account login for your existing application

If you applied for coverage by phone, by paper, or with help from a Navigator or Certified Application Counselor and never created an account login to access your application online, you can do so at anytime. By signing into your account, you will be able to do a number of things you may normally call customer service for. For example: Update your account information, like if you move to a new address, have an income change to report, update you contact information, and much more. View your current enrollment information. View bills, notices, and tax forms online. Management payments and payment methods. View your payment history and scheduled payments. How can I make a premium payment?

There are 4 ways to make payments to the Health Connector: Online at payment.mahealthconnector.org with your checking or savings account. By mail with a check or money order. In-person at one of our customer service walk-in centers with a check or money order. Through your bank’s online bill payment system. We do not accept cash, PayPal, credit or debit cards, mobile pay, or other forms of electronic payments at this time. You can read in detail about each of these ways to pay on our How to Pay page now → It's important to note that Premium payments for individual and family health and dental plans are due the 23rd of the month before coverage effective (start) date. See the table below. If you purchased both a health and a dental plan, each plan’s premium must be paid separately.
